Thanks for all the ideas for newsletter changes and updates. It seems people really love to hear the success stories - so we'll try to add at least one good one each month. Your job is to send your success stories in when they happen!

I'm also working on a weekend feng shui certification retreat, where we will gather for fun and feng shui training, since many people also requested this. Nothing has been inked yet, but I'm thinking of holding it in Joshua Tree, California sometime in the fall of 2007. That way, my next book will be out and we can use both books for instruction. If you have any comments on this, do let me know!

I also received many requests for an on-line course, and, well, if I figure out how to do that I certainly will! If you out there have any expertise on this subject, it would be most appreciated as well.

I'm having fun spray painting the slab of my floors here at home because the finish flooring is getting ready to be installed. I have applied the nine colors of the bagua in each room, using the door into that room to orient the bagua in that room. I have also sprayed red paint around the new toilet location and along the entire rear living room wall directly opposite the front door because I have one window, one door and one see-through fireplace along that wall.

I also have installed a flying crane weathervane on top of the new entry "tower" roof to help uplift the home from it's "sitting lower than the street" grade location.

Remember, in building and remodeling, there are always compromises between design and feng shui. And if you know how to make corrections (either hide them or make them showy and obvious) then you can confidently work with just about any situation.

Question: I'm getting desperate. I have gained a lot of weight and am in poor physical fitness. I have back problems and ankle problems which prevent me from exercising. I need suggestions to boost my health gua. I would also like to boost my prosperity section which lies partially outside my apartment.

Answer: I think you would benefit from starting with the helpful people gua thanking the universe for the perfect help for your health situation on paper and placing it in your helpful people box in the front right hand area of your bedroom.

1. After moving into a new home, my career instantly took a turn for the worse and I was terminated for no good reason. About a week later a friend came over and upon walking in said you have a picture of a leaf with leopard print in your career section. I had no idea what she was talking about and after she explained I realized that I had obviously turned over a new leaf in my career and the leopard print in the picture was what the girl was wearing that got my fired! I was astonished! I took the picture down and my friend bought me your book. I read all of it within a week since I had plenty of time on my hands, and started making the changes. I see results almost instantly when I'm moving things around. I have started dating a former boyfriend since starting on the relationship corner and everything is great.

But the most astonishing thing to date happened in the "helpful people." I had an interview with an investigator from the state board regarding my license which was in question due to my former boss. The night before his visit, I worked on that corner and placed his name in a box there. Upon arrival to my house he was very official-even flashed his badge in my face.
