Answer: Well, certainly earth element can help when feeling ungrounded. But if you want a less text book answer, I would recommend creating a ritual of nurturing yourself. Plan long baths, present yourself with small gifts, adorn your body with strong symbols that can support you during this time. Consciously do these things with intention of holding your energy stable as you move through your feng shui modifications. When your done movin' your stuff, sit back and relax with your new nurturing rituals and let the universe cook up your newly requested life.

De-clutter and get your jewelry box, makeup drawer and purse/wallet in order. Simplifying tiny spaces that you visit every day can make a big difference in how organized you feel. If your whole house needs de-cluttering help, perhaps this is a good place to start.

And remember last month's tip about checking your yard for "green clutter?" Well, here is a success story that someone sent in after they worked on their yard:

"The backyard here had originally been professionally landscaped, but had been seriously neglected by the past owners. Much of the plantings were either grossly overgrown, dead or dying. There was 4" (yes, I measured it!) of leaf mold and tree debris on the ground literally suffocating the grass and the earth beneath it. The ever-blooming wisteria was an overgrown tangle of drooping, choking vines. And there was not a bird or dragonfly or squirrel coming anywhere near this yard. We would watch them sit on the fence between us and the neighbor's yard, literally with their backs to this yard and never hop down on this side of the fence. Dragonflies were zipping over our neighbors yards; not ours.

I put out our bird feeders; I put out the bird bath. Absolutely nothing!

Then, despite the unpacking I needed to do in the house, I couldn't stand the outdoors like that anymore. I called a tree service and they came out and removed the dead cedar (in the middle of our "Fame" area!) and cleared dead rose bushes, ligustrums and 2 pathetic crepe myrtles planted in the heavy shade of huge Japanese maples. I whacked out 6 trash bags full of overgrown wisteria and David raked up 22 bags of leaf mold. We removed the chain link dog run that divided the yard. What grass had been able to grow was cut and composted.

We were exhausted; came in, took showers and went out with glasses of ice water to sit in the sun room and admire our now "de-cluttered" backyard. We were shocked at what had happened while we were inside.

Karen, the yard was positively ALIVE. There were blue jays, 2 squirrels, mourning doves, sparrows and finches and a pair of cardinals all vying for the feeders, and flitting through the trees. Two blackbirds were showing their youngster how to take a bath in the birdbath! It was like a totally transformed yard!

So, obviously, even the birds and the beasts feel the negative energy of "clutter!" Now, the backyard is not only de-cluttered, but it is alive with the energy of living beings. Of course, I now spend a lot of time filling Bird feeders! And this morning we spotted a woodpecker!

There's much more to be done and I can't wait to see what new energy the next Feng Shui steps will bring!
